Shady Days in Gay, GA - Arts and Crafts Festival -  Come stroll and see some of the history of Gay, Georgia, as you visit this town the first full weekend in May and October.  Your eyes will be amazed as Shady Days in Gay hosts over 200 fabulous exhibitors from the Southeast that continues the spirit of craftsmanship, skill, talent and vision that many area farmers, homemakers, and craftsmen began in this town. Bring your family and meander throughout the town and enjoy some of the most wonderful exhibits.  Admission is FREE.  Don't stop to eat on your way - there's always great food available for the hungry shopper.  Be sure to bring the children as we have a great kid's area.  The hours are 9:00am until 6:00pm on Saturday - 10:00am until 5:00pm Sunday and held rain or shine.  We're located at 18785 GA Hwy 85 in Gay, approximately 45 miles south of Atlanta and 55 miles north of Columbus. 19th Annual Harvest Hoe Down - Enjoy this fall celebration with Warm Springs Merchants.  Arts, crafts, parade, good food, entertainment and more planned! For additional information or to request a vendor application, contact the Visitor Information Center at 706-655-3322.

Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery - Annual Open House (Please call for specific date) - Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery will open its doors to highlight and showcase the work done on station by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Hatchery staff will conduct guided tours of the public aquarium, boardwalk, and display pool areas. Staff will be giving pond demonstrations and there will be several hands-on activities for kids. Staff members from the Fish Technology Center and Fish Health Center will also be participating to inform the public of their role as unique stewards of species conservation by showcasing their programs. Warm Springs NFH’s Friends Group (F.I.S.H.) will also be available to answer questions and to sign-up new members. Please join us to learn more about how the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service works to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.  Manchester Railroad Days - Held the 3rd Friday/Saturday in October at the Manchester Mill, 10 Callaway Street.  Railroad display to include:  personal railroad collections, model layouts, sales by vendors,  outdoor display and more.  Enjoy the Friday evening Rail Fan Reception. and watch trains 'til dawn on Saturday evening at the observation deck.  For more information call 706-846-5341.
